Dutch Progressive Metal giants Textures release their first album in six years on Kscope.

Serving as a conceptual counterpart to 2016’s acclaimed Phenotype, Genotype distils the essence of Textures’ DNA into eight new songs. Mixed by Forrester Savell (Karnivool), lyrically, the album speaks for and to the unheard - introverts, outsiders, and those navigating internal worlds that often go unseen - standing up for authenticity and resilience.

 

Featuring the singles Closer To The Unknown, At The Edge of Winter (featuring Charlotte Wessels) and Vanishing Twin, the record balances technical precision and brilliance with powerful songwriting.
