Terry Riley's hugely influential Electronic / Minimalist masterpiece A Rainbow in Curved Air (1969) contains the three part title track alongside the atmospheric saxophone loop piece, Poppy Nogood and the Phantom Band (which had a massive impact on the music of Brian Eno, The Who, Mike Oldfield and early 1970s Soft Machine).
