Winter Music was originally recorded for Richard Pinhas’s innovative 1979 release Iceland. 

 

Using early looping approaches (reminiscent of Fripp & Eno), Pinhas performed the song by hand-playing a PolyMoog directly into 2 Revox A700’s tape recorders. 

 

Making its debut on vinyl, the 24 minute piece has been remixed by RP and remastered by Robert Rich.
