Peter Hammill's Incoherence (2004) is an ambitious 42 minute suite of songs dealing with the nature of language and communication. It remains one of the more unusual and compelling offerings from one of the most unusual and compelling artists the UK has produced.
This 2024 vinyl edition is the debut release of the album on vinyl, and Peter Hammill has prepared a new mix specifically for the LP format which remains a seamless experience, albeit divided in to one part per side. The album has been cut at Abbey Road studios and includes a gatefold lyric insert.
