Mansun Retold sees Paul Draper revisit and reimagine some of the most iconic songs from Mansun’s catalogue, rebuilding them from the ground up. 

 

Recorded at The Loft Studios in Surrey, Draper co-produced the album with Paul “PDub” Walton (The Cure, Björk, Massive Attack). 

 

The recordings feature a string quartet arranged and led by Audrey Riley (Muse, Nick Cave), with drums performed by ex-Mansun drummer, Julian Fenton. Draper handles acoustic bass, acoustic lead and rhythm guitar, and piano. On Mansun Retold, his instantly recognisable songwriting has been reinvented for the modern day.
