The auction is open for 14 days starting on Thursday August 17 and finishing at 5pm on Thursday August 31.

The starting bid is £5000. Please note that shipping will cost extra (see below).

 

Please state how much you would be willing to pay in £GBP and which country you live in.

 

We will email all bidders at the end of each working day to let them know the highest bid. If existing bidders would like to increase their offers, they can email us again with a higher amount.

 

The winner will make payment direct to the Karn family and not Burning Shed.

 

Payment must be made by bank transfer and in £GBP. The final amount will not include VAT.

The winner is welcome to collect the bass from the Burning Shed office/warehouse in Norwich.

 

We can ship the bass to anywhere in the world (the cost will be dependent on the country it is going to).

 

The bass will be packed in a solid flightcase and sent as a fully insured / tracked shipment via courier.

 

Any shipping fee will be calculated after the auction has finished and added to the final cost payable to the Karn family. 

 

Please be aware that this will not be cheap due to the dimensions and weight of the parcel, in addition to the value of the bass itself which must be declared for the insurance. Shipping could cost up to £350 depending on your country. This is a guide and an accurate shipping price will be given to the winner.

 

International buyers should be aware that your local Customs office might ask you to pay additional taxes, duties and fees before the final delivery. All additional taxes, duties and fees are your responsibility, not that of Burning Shed nor the Karn family.

 

We reserve the right not to sell the bass if bids do not meet the family’s valuation.
