After a hiatus of eight years, 2024’s Transmutation is the sixth studio album from Jonas Reingold’s critically acclaimed Karmakanic project.

 

Recruiting an impressive array of world class musicians to realise a fresh new vision for Karmakanic, Reingold is joined Steve Hackett (who guests throughout the album), drum legends Simon Phillips, Nick D’Virgilio and Craig Blundell, John Mitchell, Randy McStine, Lalle Larsson, Andy Tillison, Tomas Bodin, Luke Machin, Göran Edman, Rob Townsend, Roger King, Krister Jonsson and more.

 

Recorded in Nashville, Los Angeles, Germany, and Austria, the album was mixed by Chris Lord Alge in his Los Angeles based studio MIX LA.
