ZAPPAtite - Frank Zappa’s Tastiest Tracks collects a healthy portion of Zappa’s best-known compositions, from his early psychedelic rock beginnings to his avant-garde experimentation, jazz-rock explorations, symphonic suites and satirical send-ups.

 

Offering key entryways into his many musical worlds, it’s divided into four courses - Appetizers, Entrees, Second Course, and Desserts. The food-centric theme oozes through the album art, which features Zappa in a diner on the cover and a tracklist resembling a menu.
