Netherworld marks a considerable step onwards from the territory that Louise Patricia Crane explored on her debut Deep Blue, crafting soundscapes that are hallucinatory and surrealistic yet also grittier and more direct. 

 

Once again, Jakko M. Jakszyk brings his fiery and mellifluous solo guitar work, as well as contributing backing vocals, keyboards and co-production. Elsewhere, Ian Anderson, Mel Collins, Nick Beggs, Shir-Ran Yinon guest and the bulk of the rhythm work is provided by the dream team of Tony Levin and Gary Husband.
