Bongo Fury turns 50!
The 1975 Zappa & Beefheart collaboration resulted in new songs, a tour, and album. Bongo Fury comprises mostly live recordings from Austin, TX and is the last release to use the name “Mothers” (before it was retired in 1976).
2LP edition with analogue mastering of the main album by Bernie Grundman on 180g black vinyl (from the original master tapes). Also includes record with highlights from the box set, a litho print and a booklet featuring unseen photos and liner notes from guitarist, Denny Walley, and Vaultmeister Joe Travers.
