Scenes From The Dreaming Room is the second solo album from David K. Jones (Plenty).,

 

Musically drawing from Progressive and Art Rock, the album's lyrics cover a variety of topics, from faded rock stars to lock down days spent watching TV adverts; from climate change as seen by fictional characters to nocturnal dreams of exotic adventures; from annoyance at people mis-using the English language to daydreaming about wonderful adventures. Guest performers include guitarists Mark Abrahams (Wishbone Ash) and Dom Bennision (Age of Distraction) along with vocalists Peter Goddard (The Mousetrap Factory), Becky Haslam (The Silver Dogs), Helen May (The Violet Hours) and John Wilkinson (Ellesmere). The album cover features artwork from Antony Wretham and was compiled by Stefan Hepe. The album was produced by Brian Hulse and David K. Jones.
