The David Longdon Foundation is a UK-registered charity that has been set up to raise funds with two key objectives:
1. The David Longdon Bursary, intended to support young musicians from socio/economically challenged backgrounds.
2. Music Therapy - Aligned as an official partner with Nordoff & Robbins, the UK’s largest music therapy charity.
David - best known for his work in Big Big Train - died in November 2021. His life ended far too soon. This Foundation was created by those who loved him most to carry something of him forward.
In his name, the Foundation unlocks doors for young musicians who cannot open them alone and brings the healing power of music to children and adults who need it most.
