Following the reflective Coming Up to Consciousness, with Terrifying Angels Pure Reason Revolution return with a darker, heavier sound, combining crushing riffs, ominous atmospheres and grunge influences alongside their signature vocal harmonies.

 

Greg Jong, Paul Mullen and Kenny Fitzgerald contribute to the writing in addition to Jon Courtney, while vocalist Annicke Shireen, drummer Ravi Kesavaram guest, and Mariusz Duda and Kristoffer Gildenlöw make play bass on various tracks.

 

Across seven tracks, themes of love, memory, truth and identity reveal that the forces which transform us are often the same ones that wound us.
