Gentle Giant Octopus Surround cd blu-ray
Octopus, from 1972, was one of Gentle Giant's most accomplished and accessible releases, blending the band's abundant imagination with a collection of strong melodies and focused performances.  
 
This 2015 Alucard label cd/blu-ray edition features a Steven Wilson mix and a 15 minute live performance of Excerpts From Octopus in 96/24 PCM and in DTS 5.1 Surround Sound Master Audio.
 
The Blu-ray also includes instrumental mixes of 5 of the original 8 tracks from the album in 96/24 PCM, and a flat transfer of the original mix of the album (taken directly from the original quarter inch tape). 
 
New sketches by Roger Dean (who produced the original UK album cover) are included in the packaging, as well as artwork from the US version.
