Holidays In Eden (Deluxe) (CD/BluRay / Vinyl Boxset pre-order)


Holidays In Eden (1991) was Marillion’s sixth studio album and second with Steve Hogarth on lead vocals.
 
This 2022 deluxe 3CD/BluRay edition is packaged inside a hard back book which includes additional content, essays and lyrics.
 
The set includes a 2022 remixed stereo version of the album by Stephen W Tayler, as well as a full 1991 live show from Hammersmith, London. The Blu-ray features the brand-new 2022 stereo remix in 96/24 Stereo LPCM, DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 and 96/24 5.1 LPCM as well as B-Sides & bonus tracks such as The Moles Club demos, lots of video content, including a brand-new documentary of the band telling the story of the album, HD upgraded promo videos and a live concert from Rockpalast In Concert from German TV.

2022 180g vinyl reissues of David Sylvian's Blemish and Manafon albums 
 
Blemish was David Sylvian’s first solo album to be released on his own Samadhisound label following his departure from Virgin Records in 2003. Working primarily as a solo artist, Sylvian created an impromptu suite of songs for guitar, electronics and voice.
 
Sylvian describes Manafon - his second  solo album for Samadhisound - as being “a modern kind of chamber music. Intimate, dynamic, emotive, democratic, economical”.

Originally released in 2005 on Ytsejam Records, ‘Images And Words Demos (1989-1991)’ documents a special period for Dream Theater as they prepared for the release of their landmark ‘Images and Words’ album. 
 
This collection includes instrumental versions of classics like ‘Take The Time’ & ‘Learning to Live’. As well as showcasing rare early renditions of some of the band’s most well-known entries such as ‘Oliver’s Twist’, which would later become the fan-favorite, ‘Pull Me Under'. 
 
It also features the original audition takes that would see Dream Theater appoint James LaBrie as their new vocalist.

Please Come Home was the debut solo project by producer, guitarist and vocalist John Mitchell (Kino, It Bites, Frost, Arena). Mitchell is assisted by Craig Blundell on drums and Nick Beggs on bass. The album features several guest appearances, including Marillion vocalist Steve Hogarth, Go West vocalist Peter Cox, Touchstone vocalist Kim Seviour, a duet with folk singer Heather Findlay, a striking guitar solo on “Humans Being” by Nik Kershaw and the narration throughout the album has been recorded by renowned actor Lee Ingleby (BBC’s Inspector George Gently).

A Fleeting Glimpse is a mini-album from by Airbag co-founder, songwriter and lead guitarist, Bjorn Riis.
 
Bjorn offers four songs with a definite Floydian flavour. Durga McBroom, one of Pink Floyd’s backup singers during the 80s and 90s, features on one of the tracks.
 
It was mixed at Subsonic Studio by long-time collaborator Vegard Kleftås Sleipnes, and it was mastered by Jacob Holm-Lupo (White Willow, The Opium Cartel). In addition to Bjørn Riis on vocals, guitars, bass and keyboards, the album features Arild Brøter (Pymlico), Øyvind Brøter (Pymlico), Per Øydir, Durga McBroom and Mimmi Tamba.
 
Available on CD and limited transparent blue vinyl.
