The David Longdon Foundation is a UK-registered charity that has been set up to raise funds with two key objectives:
1. The David Longdon Bursary, intended to support young musicians from socio/economically challenged backgrounds.
2. Music Therapy - Aligned as an official partner with Nordoff & Robbins, the UK’s largest music therapy charity.
David - best known for his work in Big Big Train - died in November 2021 and this Foundation was created by those who loved him most to carry something of him forward.
In his name, the Foundation unlocks doors for young musicians who cannot open them alone and brings the healing power of music to children and adults who need it most.

A rare opportunity to own a piece of music history. This is the original watercolour painting by Charlotte Bates for the inner sleeve of McDonald & Giles' charming album from 1970.
The painting is currently housed behind a white mount in a silvered wooden frame and measures 78x47cm.
Please note the paint includes a crack in the centre of the pink part. The frame is chipped and scratched.

Tim Bowness will be playing solo and no-man songs with the My Hotel Band (in their first performance since 2006). Reformed for this event, the band features Michael Bearpark, Stephen Bennett, Andrew Booker, Peter Chilvers and Pete Morgan and they'll be playing pieces that haven't been heard for many years.
Bruce Soord will be performing in support of Ghosts In The Park, alongside fellow Pineapple Thief member Jon Sykes.

The Residents
Eskimo Folk Tales EP (Vinyl pre-order)
In the 1970s, as The Residents worked on their Eskimo masterpiece, their mentor The Mysterious N. Senada sent them a collection of handwritten Inuit folk tales, suggesting they incorporate them into the album. But the group shelved them, having gathered more than enough stuff themselves by that point, leaving them to gather dust.
Almost 50 years later, The Residents have revived those folk tales as part of their Eskimo live performance, blending them with familiar elements of the original Eskimo album and new music. This is a studio recording of those new songs, alongside read-along stories, as written down by Senada almost half a century ago.
