Barclay James Harvest Barclay James Harvest CD
A 2018 CD edition of BJH’s charming 1970 debut album.

BJH successfully fused an orchestra with Rock band to create a unique pastoral form of Symphonic Progressive Rock. Produced by Norman Smith (Pink Floyd), the album was dominated by the epic Dark Now My Sky, but also featured BJH classics such as The Iron Maiden, Mother Dear, When the World Was Woken and Taking Some Time On.

This expanded reissue has been remastered from the original master tapes and features nine bonus tracks, including the Early Morning, Brother Thrush and Taking Some Time On singles plus four tracks recorded in August 1968.

The booklet contains previously unseen photographs and an essay by BJH specialists Keith and Monika Domone.
