The Black Sun Shining Rhys Marsh cd Autumsong
Written and recorded in seven days, The Black Sun Shining is a linked 7 part 42-minute song-cycle intended to be listened to as one continuous piece of music.

An instinctive follow-up to Marsh's 2014 debut solo album, The Black Sun Shining's hypnotic opening seamlessly segues into variously intense, dissonant and achingly fragile sections.

As with his previous solo album, The Black Sun Shining was performed, recorded and produced by Marsh alone. Adopting a different approach to his previous work, the album introduces more ethnic rhythm patterns and, at times, a stark, harmonic minimalism.

The first 100 copies come with a postcard of the album artwork signed by Rhys Marsh.
