The third Weserbergland album Sacrae Symphoniae no.1 was inspired by music spanning more than five centuries: Venetian late renaissance music to the sonic exploration of avantgarde composer Karlheinz Stockhausen to the German experimental rock music scene in the 1970s and beyond. 
 
Comprising a single 40 minute track, the album incorporates atmospheric classical elements, experimental electronic music, full on noise rock assaults and lots in-between. 
 
Mixed by the legendary John McEntire (Tortoise).

David K Jones

Days In Corners (CD pre-order)


Days In Corners is the first solo album from David K Jones (bass player with Moonshot, Plenty and The Swan Chorus).
 
Developed in collaboration with Brian Hulse and Peter Goddard from demos recorded over 20 years ago, its creation became a lockdown labour of love. 
 
By turns poignant and lush, the album consists of ten haunting songs about reflection, relationships and romance. 
 
The album includes guest performances by Tim Bowness, Darren Dean, Henry Rogers (Mostly Autumn), Jenny Whittaker and John Wilkinson (Mama).

Terry Riley

A repress of the remastered version of Terry Riley's phenomenally influential Minimalist work, In C. 
 
Originally performed in 1964 in San Francisco, the ensemble performing including fellow innovator Steve Reich and electronic maestro Morton Subotnik among others.
 
Frst released on record in 1968, upon its release the album caused a sensation and is now regarded as a major contribution to 20th Century composition.

A concept album about waves, Alduorka shows Breidablik diving even deeper into the world of Progressive, Electronic and Ambient music. 
 
A contemporary take on the Berlin School of Electronic Music movement (Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, Michael Hoenig), Breidablik’s music is instrumental and mainly created using analogue synthesizers (although acoustic and electric guitars, as well as flutes and percussion, also constitute an important part of the music.
